To get a short URL for your LinkedIn profile, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your LinkedIn account.
2. Go to your profile page by clicking on your profile picture on the top left corner.
3. On the right side of your profile page, you will see an "Edit public profile & URL" option.
4. Click on the "Edit public profile & URL" option.
5. On the right side of the page, you will see a section called "Edit your custom URL". Here you can customize your LinkedIn profile URL.
6. Type in the desired custom URL in the box provided. Keep in mind that it must be between 5-30 characters and can only contain letters, numbers, and hyphens.
7. Once you have entered your custom URL, click on the "Save" button to save your changes.
