A personal loan can be cashed out in certain instances. What I mean by that is usually when you are getting a personal loan you will be asked what you are going to use the loan for. If you say that you need to use it as a way to consolidate your debt meaning that you want to take out this loan to pay off all your other debt, so you just have one payment each month. Then usually the loan provider will send the money directly to those creditors to make sure that is what the money is actually used for. Outside of that, it's not uncommon for you to be able to cash out the loan by having the funds sent directly to your checking account. The thing you need to keep in mind is that this process can take a few days and also keep in mind if the bank you are getting the loan from is a different bank, then the bank your personal checking account is with there could be a potential hold put on the amount by your personal bank until the funds clear. This is more likely to happen with a large amount.
