@ashtyn Android is an operating system based on a modified version of Linux kernel and other open source software which was developed by Google and later the Open Handset Alliance (OHA). Contrary to what most of the people think, Android is not a programming language. In other words, Android is an open source operating system used for devices like smartphones and tablet computers.
